In November 2025, the "Discovering China: Yunnan Baoshan" media tour commenced in Baoshan, Yunnan. Journalists from Myanmar, Laos, Bangladesh, and China Media Group explored towns and villages across Baoshan, documenting the local achievements in Chinese modernization.

The media group visited over 20 featured locations — including the Yongzi Culture Park, Changning Black Tea Base, and Simola Wa Ethnic Village — witnessing the integration of traditional farming with modern industries and the harmony among diverse ethnic groups.
